Renowned Pakistani Guitarist and Songwriter, Aamir Zaki Passed Away on 2nd june 2017 Friday. He died at the age of 49. He was God gifted and talented Pakistani Guitarist.
He died because of an immediate heart failure. The source also claimed that Aamir Zaki was fighting a prolonged illness.
Aamir Zaki began his musical journey when he was discovered by Alamgir. Aamir Zaki got into music at the age of 14. He played in two albums of Alamgir. He also recorded English album ‘Axe Attack‘ in Pakistan but this album was never released in Pakistan due to refusal of Pakistani music companies. This album was well liked in Australia.
After his career as Alamgir’s lead, Aamir Zaki formed three rock bands. The Barbarians, Axe Attack and Scratch.
Aamir Zaki was known for his musical genius and volatile temperament. He was also a great teacher, who inspired so many people.
Aamir Zaki also independently released a new album ‘Signature’ for which he received a ‘Gold Disc’ by Soundcraft UK. In 1995. He released his first solo album ‘ Signature’.
He will be remembered as one of finest guitar players of Pakistan. Most memorable and famous tracks of Aamir Zaki are Mera Pyar, Tumhari Ankhon Mein, Bhula Dena, Iss Bar Melo by Aamir Zaki, You Need that Fire, The Day She Left, Jana Tumse Milne Ka Ye Bahana, Chehra ft. by Aamir Zaki.
